Gerber scanning
system installed.
Many of our customers
still order part numbers that were hand taped and photo reduced
15 years ago. In an effort to retool these older part numbers,
we have installed a scanning system that can generate Gerber
files from film.

Film Punch
added.
We have added a film
punch that uses a camera to find targets and precisely punch
tooling holes into the print film. These holes are
then used to align the print film with the drilled panels.

CAM station
added.
We have added a third
CAM station in engineering. Our software is CAM350 from Advanced
CAM Solutions running in Windows NT 4.0 The new station will
help eliminate bottlenecks and support our new CNC router.

After months of work,
our online quoting system is up and running. This addition
to our web site lets you get your quotes online instantly.

New CNC router up and running.
Our
new CNC router is now on line. The router is used to trim
circuit boards to their final shape. It is computer controlled
and uses the coordinates from a "mill file" to trim
the board. The mill file is created at one of our CAM stations
using the dimensions from the customer’s fabrication
drawing. The drawing is then exported as a mill file and can
be downloaded to the router across our network. In the past,
our CNC drill doubled as a router. Now, with a dedicated router,
jobs can be routed without delay.
